Tears well up in Pulp's eyes as she tells her story. At around 8 years old, with torn rear ligaments, this small female dog was abandoned by a human into a place where she would never have made it on her own... The torn ligaments caused unimaginable pain, and her obesity only made it harder for her to move. If not for the good people who found her, she would have passed away quietly, alone, and in unimaginable suffering... But fate smiled on her once. She found her way to our animal shelter. And we will never abandon her. We are constantly working to improve her quality of life within our shelter's limitations. After orthopedic consultations, we knew that Pulp would need operations on both legs. Serious and costly. Our beloved little one received the first operation in February, and the second is scheduled for June 2025. Already after both operations, she is coming around...unfortunately, not in the comfort of her own home. She still resides in the shelter, but due to the need for close monitoring during her recovery, Pulp has made her home in the office with the other shelter dogs, under the watchful eye of Pulpa. A return to her kennel is not an option. Pulp walks at her own pace, quite a brisk one for her little legs. Her spirits are lifted...and so is her appetite... 😈 Given her current size and the need to lose weight...it's quite a challenge. Her recovery in the shelter is not easy. But we all try. Pulp desperately needs a home, because only a real home can provide the necessary effects and allow her to fully enjoy life. She has already overcome so much on the path to normal function - we would so much like for a home to be found that would make this brave little one's life possible. Pulp is a small, older, but not old, dog. She is shy with people and a bit scared, but she can open up to more trusting individuals. She can get along with calm dogs. This is a little, innocent creature that fell victim to human cruelty. But perhaps this time, her journey will lead to flowing human goodness?

Od historii Pulpy łzy same napływają do oczu. Oto w wieku ok. 8 lat, z zerwanymi tylnymi więzadłami, ta niewielka sunia została porzucona przez człowieka na pastwę losu w miejscu, z którego wiadomo, że o własnych siłach nigdzie już by nie doszła… Zerwane więzadła powodowały niesamowity ból, otyłość nie pomagała w poruszaniu się. Gdyby nie dobrzy ludzie, którzy ją znaleźli, umierałaby cichutko, sama i w niewyobrażalnym cierpieniu… Los jednak ten jeden raz się do niej uśmiechnął. Trafiła do naszego schroniska. A my nigdy jej nie porzucimy. I dokładamy cały czas starań, by poprawić jej komfort życia w miarę naszych schroniskowych możliwości. Po konsultacjach ortopedycznych wiedzieliśmy, że Pulpie niezbędne będą operacje obu nóżek. Poważne i kosztowne. Na pierwszy zabieg nasza kochana kluseczka trafiła w lutym, na drugi w czerwcu 2025 roku. Już po obydwu operacjach dziewczyna dochodzi do siebie…niestety nie w zaciszu swojego domu. Nadal przebywa w schronisku, jednak ze wzgl. na konieczną rekonwalescencję pod okiem człowieka, Pulpa zamieszkała wraz z innymi schroniskowymi, nawiększymi biduskami w biurze pani kierownik. Powrót do boksu w jej stanie nie wchodzi w rachubę. Pulpa spaceruje w swoim tempie, całkiem jednak żwawym, jak na swoje kluseczkowe możliwości. Humor dziewczynie dopisuje…apetyt też 🙈 Co przy jej obecnym gabarycie i konieczności raczej zrzucenia wagi….jest dość kłopotliwe. Jej rekonwalescencja w schroniskowych warunkach nie jest łatwa. Jednak staramy się wszyscy. Pulpa bardzo potrzebuje domu, bo wyłącznie rekonwalescencja w prawdziwym domu przyniesie potrzebne efekty i pozwoliłaby jej normalnie korzystać z życia. Tyle już przeszła w drodze do normalnego funkcjonowania - tak bardzo chcielibyśmy, żeby znalazł się domek, który to naszej dzielnej kluseczce umożliwi. Pulpa jest sunią niedużą, starszą, ale nie starą. Do ludzi jest nieśmiała i trochę zlękniona, jednak potrafi do siebie dopuścić bardziej zaufane osoby. Ze spokojnymi psiakami potrafi się dogadać. To mała, niewinna istota, która padła ofiarą brutalności ludzi. Może tym razem jednak jej udziałem stanie się płynące od człowieka dobro?
