Radunka is a little cat whose story began in a very sad way. In the Radvanice area, where we’ve been helping a colony of stray cats for quite some time, employees found a few-day-old kittens scattered around the parking lot. They placed them in a box, where they fought for their lives for several hours before being brought to us. Radunka was completely hypothermic, apathetic, and barely breathing. We soon discovered that her mother had been caught two days earlier as part of a cat population control program—and no one had realized she’d left her kittens behind. For two whole days, she waited at the shelter while her babies slowly starved to death. After much commotion, we took her in, but unfortunately, it was already too late; the kittens were far too weak, and we weren’t able to save them.

Radunka je kočička, jejíž příběh začal velmi smutně. V areálu v Radvanicích, kde už delší dobu pomáháme s kolonií toulavých koček, našli zaměstnanci pár dnů stará koťata rozházená po parkovišti. Dali je do krabice, kde několik hodin bojovala o život, než se k nám dostala. Byla úplně podchlazená, apatická a sotva dýchala. Brzy jsme zjistily, že jejich matka byla odchycena dva dny předtím v rámci regulace koček - a nikdo netušil, že po sobě nechala koťata. Dva dny čekala v útulku, zatímco její miminka pomalu umírala hlady. Po velkém rozruchu jsme ji převzaly k sobě, ale bohužel už bylo pozdě, koťata byla příliš slabá a nepodařilo se je zachránit.
