Riel oli erittäin hermostunut tullessaan kenneliin 13 muun koiran kanssa. Kukaan heistä ei ollut koskaan oikeastaan kosketettu tai käsitelty. Riel kasvaa vähitellen rohkeammaksi ja olemme varmoja, että hänestä tulee pian rohkeampi poika. Kennelissä hänelle tehdään täydellinen rokotus, hänelle asennetaan mikrosiru ja hänelle myönnetään passi. Hänelle tehdään verikoe, hänet kastroidaan ja hänelle annetaan sydänmatojen ehkäisy sekä hoito kirppuja ja täitä vastaan ja suolistoloisia vastaan.

Riel was extremely nervous when he arrived at the kennels with 13 other dogs. None of them had ever really been touched or handled. Riel is gradually growing in confidence and we are sure with time and patience he will soon be a more confident boy. At the kennels, he will be fully vaccinated, with a microchip and passport. Blood tested, castrated and on heartworm prevention along with treatment for ticks and fleas and intestinal worms.
