Ripple is looking for a calm and predictable home with loving and active adopters who can take him on sniffy adventures, who will take the time to help him settle in and give him all the love and care he deserves. He is a sweet boy who finds the world rather overwhelming at times, so could live with older secondary school children who will give him time to build a relationship and give him space to rest and relax when needed. Ripple likes all of the attention to himself so would like to be the only pet in the home, although he would be happy with polite and friendly walking buddies. Ripple doesn’t know many tricks yet but does love a tasty treat so could be encouraged to engage in training once he is settled into his new home. He would like a home with a private, secure garden for him to have some quality time pottering about in at his leisure with no worries or distractions. Ripple can be worried being left, so is looking for someone to be home the majority of the time to begin with, he can settle when provided with enrichment so could potentially be left in future, any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle into his new home. Ripple will need to meet his adopters multiple times prior to going home, so please bear all of this in mind when applying. Gorgeous boy Ripple is a 1 and a half year old Border Collie who is a friend to all. He loves snuggles with his favourite people, even sneaking in the odd cheeky kiss when you least expect it, he does need you to check in with him to make sure he is still happy with fuss time. He hasn’t shown much interest in toys yet, he will start to chase a ball that is thrown for him but will soon lose interest. He likes to explore his surroundings, sniffing and watching everything. This super sweet guy is ready to find his new home.
