Rocco is a handsome 1 year old boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s a friendly, affectionate boy who loves being around people and is always ready for fun. Rocco is full of energy and enjoys playtime, walks, and plenty of interaction. He has a playful nature and would thrive in an active home where he can get both physical exercise and mental stimulation. He has a loving, social temperament, making him a wonderful companion for the right family. With the right home, Rocco has all the potential to become a loyal, loving, and devoted companion. As a typical adolescent Akita, Rocco can be strong on the lead and is still learning his manners, so he’ll need ongoing training and consistent guidance. Because of his size, strength, and breed traits, Rocco is looking for an owner with large breed experience who understands how to provide structure, leadership, and continued training. Rocco is good with other dogs and cats, so could live with a similar sized patient spayed female based on careful introductions. He is not suited to life in a flat and needs a secure garden with robust 6ft fencing where he can safely play. Rocco’s ideal home: Experienced with large breeds Active household with time for exercise and training Able to provide consistent boundaries and guidance A place where someone is home most of the day so he’s not left alone for long periods of time. If you’re looking for a fun loving, loyal companion and have the experience to help him thrive, Rocco could be the perfect addition to your family.
