This dog is currently being rehomed under our Homestay scheme. Under this scheme, the dog stays with their current owner until the point of adoption, when ownership transfers briefly to Dogs Trust and then to the new adopters. The benefits of Homestay for a dog are that it minimises disruption and prevents the dog having to come into kennels, however there is the potential the owner may pull out of the scheme prior to adoption. We understand the upset this may cause to potential adopters, and we work closely with owners to minimise the likelihood of this. However, it remains a possibility, and should this occur, Dogs Trust will prioritise finding adopters an alternative suitable dog. Sally is an 11-year-old Staffy with a heart full of love, and is looking for a home alongside her best friend, Arnie. Don't let her age fool you – she still enjoys her walks, loves meeting new people and dogs, and is always ready for a fuss and a cuddle. Sally is fully housetrained, can be left for a few hours, and could live with primary school-aged children. She is also food-motivated, knows her basic commands, and loves a game of tug-of-war with Arnie. This happy, affectionate girl is ready to find a loving home where she and Arnie can enjoy their golden years together.
