Selma is a lovely one-year-old girl who came to us from Gradiška with her two sisters, Dunja and Vilma. At such a young age, she still has her whole life ahead of her and is now waiting for the chance to spend it as part of a family of her own. Growing up in a shelter is very different from growing up in a home. Although Selma is safe and cared for at Hope, what we would really love for her is the opportunity to experience everyday family life, with regular walks, a comfortable place to sleep and people she can call her own. Selma recently had a visit from the vet along with the other dogs who arrived with her. She has now received her rabies vaccination and anti-parasite treatment, helping to prepare her for the next stage of her journey. At just one year old, Selma has so much ahead of her. We hope that shelter life will only be a small part of her story, and that somewhere there is a family ready to give her the future she deserves.
