Mixed-breed male, born in 2016. Akido is urgently looking for a suitable home. I am desperately seeking a new home for my dog Akido, as our current situation has become unsustainable in the long term. For over three years now, I’ve been living alone with my two dogs while working full-time, without any support or caregiving options available. Moreover, I’ve developed a pet hair allergy, and my own health has also become increasingly limited. It’s no longer financially feasible for me to provide adequate care for my dog Akido. Akido (born 2016), a mixed-breed dog (approx. 35 cm tall, neutered), is active, affectionate, and people-oriented; he seeks close contact with his caregivers and struggles to be left alone (exhibits pronounced separation anxiety). He has a food allergy and is currently receiving supportive medication due to his separation issues—this has been going on for about six months. He experiences anxiety around cracking noises. Please only get in touch if the following points truly match your situation: Akido has difficulty being left alone; you should have ample time for training—including exercises to help him cope with separation and noise anxiety—and ideally spend most of your time at home (e.g., retirees or those who work permanently from home). You should have several years of experience with dogs, preferably with sensitive dogs. You must be willing to cover veterinary costs and provide specialized feed (horse-based). There should be no small children in the household, no cats, and a calm living environment. Akido is a lovable dog, but because of his anxieties, he needs people who can offer him the necessary time, security, and reliability. I’m aware that this is not an easy task.

Darüber hinaus hat sich eine Tierhaarallergie entwickelt und auch gesundheitlich bin ich inzwischen eingeschränkt. Eine weitere adäquate Versorgung von meinem Hund Akido ist für mich nicht mehr leistbar.
