26-08-26 Sesame is a worried little lady who has come to us from a breeder. She will approach for a sniff once she feels confident enough, but she is still very shy and timid and may retreat if she feels unsure. She relies on her kennel friends for comfort, so she will need at least one kind and confident resident dog in her new home that she can look to as she continues to build trust and confidence. Sesame has never lived in a home before, so her adopters will need to be patient and kind as she learns about house training and home life. She has never walked on a lead before, and is a bit too nervous to start harness training, but hopefully in time and with plenty of patience she will gain her confidence. Her adopters will need experience with ex-breeder dogs so they can better understand her needs and give her the support she requires. She can live with sensible, dog-savvy teens aged 16+ who can offer her a calm and quiet home to settle into at her own pace. Sesame is a sweet girl who just needs someone willing to take a chance on her and help her discover how wonderful life can be. This dog can be homed with a resident dog. This dog can be homed with cats.
