Sumi - the Gentle one with the black velvet fur. Sumi was born in the animal shelter as early as 2021 - and still she is waiting. Waiting for people who not only hear the loud meowing, but also the quiet whispers of the reserved ones. Sumi is a delicate, shy cat lady who needs time to build trust. She doesn't push herself, she doesn't seek the spotlight - she observes, approaches cautiously, gives her heart bit by bit. Whoever gives her this time will eventually receive something precious: genuine affection, without any reservations. Perhaps she is overlooked because of her black fur. Perhaps because she doesn't immediately rush towards everyone. Yet this is exactly where her quiet beauty - and her magic - lies. Sumi is looking for a home with patience, calmness, and understanding - gladly together with a familiar cat friend from her room or with a social compatible companion. After getting used to her surroundings, she would like to have free range to explore the world outside. It's time that Sumi finally arrives - not anywhere, but forever. Sumi is vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped and has just had her teeth treated. Sumi – die Sanfte mit dem schwarzen Samtfell Schon 2021 erblickte Sumi im Tierheim das Licht der Welt – und noch immer wartet sie. Wartet auf Menschen, die nicht nur das laute Miauen, sondern auch das leise Flüstern der Zurückhaltenden hören. Sumi ist eine feine, schüchterne Katzendame, die Zeit braucht, um Vertrauen zu fassen. Sie drängt sich nicht auf, sucht keine Bühne – sie beobachtet, tastet sich heran, schenkt ihr Herz Stück für Stück. Wer ihr diese Zeit gibt, bekommt am Ende etwas Kostbares: echte Zuneigung, ganz ohne Vorbehalt. Vielleicht wird sie übersehen, weil ihr Fell schwarz ist. Vielleicht, weil sie eben nicht sofort auf jeden zustürmt. Doch genau darin liegt ihre stille Schönheit – und ihr Zauber. Sumi sucht ein Zuhause mit Geduld, Ruhe und Verständnis – gern gemeinsam mit einem vertrauten Katzenfreund aus ihrer Stube oder zu einem sozialverträglichen Artgenossen. Nach der Eingewöhnung wünscht sie sich Freigang, um die Welt auch draußen zu entdecken. Es wird Zeit, dass Sumi endlich ankommt – nicht irgendwo, sondern für immer.
