Suloinen Tess on 11-vuotias shar pei x collie, joka etsii ikuista kotiansa Helping Houndsin kautta Grayshottissa, Hampshire. Hän kaipaa äskettäin kuollutta sisartaan, joten Tess on nyt yksin etsimässä täydellistä ikuista kotiansa. Tess on suurehko rouva, mutta niin lempeä ja hellyyttä rakastava. Hän kaipaa sisartaan, ja niinpä vapaaehtoiset tekevät kaikkensa, jotta hänen elämäänsä saataisiin helpompaa. Paljon rakkautta ja huomiota, retkiä ja yöpymisiä, mutta……. Vaikka hän onkin hidastunut, hän nauttii silti pitkistä kävelyistä. Vaikka Tess on vahva tyttö, hän on hyvin reagoiva ja kohtelias ja iloinen kävelemään. Hän pysähtyy, kun häntä pyydetään, ja on vain iloinen, kun on vieressäsi. Tess on puhdas ja hyvin käyttäytyvä kodissa, häntä voidaan jättää muutamaksi tunniksi ja hän vain asettuu ja odottaa, että palaat. Vaikka Tess voisi olla ainoa koira, tuntuu, että koska hän on aina elänyt toisen koiran kanssa ja todella kaipaa sisarensa seuraa, hän arvostaisi toisen vanhemman ja rauhallisen koiran seuraa. Hän rakastaa muiden koirien tapaamista kävelyillä, ja niinpä jos hänellä olisi kaverikko asumaan vieressä, hän olisi niin onnellinen. Sarja tutustumiskäyntejä olisi tervetullut. Adorable Tess is an 11yr old Shar Pei x Collie looking for her forever home through Helping Hounds in Grayshott, Hampshire. She is grieving the loss of her sister who has recently died and so Tess is now left alone looking for her perfect forever home. Tess is a larger lady but oh so gentle and soppy. She is definitely missing her sister, and so the volunteers are doing all that they can to make her life bearable. Lots of love and attention, trips out and overnight stays, BUT……. Tess needs a home of her own where she can settle and relax and know she is part of the family. Tess is described as an angel in the home. She loves affection and just sitting next to you in the evening watching the TV. She will come for strokes and then happy to take herself off to lie quietly nearby. Although slowing down, she still enjoys lengthy strolls. Whilst a strong girl, but is very responsive and polite and a pleasure to walk. She stops when asked and is just happy to be by your side. Tess is clean and well behaved in the home, can be left for a couple of hours and will just settle down and wait for you to return… Although Tess could be an only dog, it is felt that as she has always lived with another dog and really misses her sister's company, she would appreciate the company of another older and calm dog. She loves meeting other dogs on walks, and so if she had a chum to live side by side with, she would be so happy. A series of meet and greets would be welcomed. Wonderful Tess so deserves the best loving forever home. If you have a garden and a space on the sofa, please consider welcoming her into your life.
