Tilli is a small young puppy, weighing around 7 kg, who is now safe at the shelter and ready for adoption. She has already come a long way simply by reaching a place where she can be cared for properly, but the shelter is only meant to be one stage of her journey. What Tilli really needs now is a family of her own. At her age, she has the opportunity to grow up surrounded by the things every young dog should know: regular meals, gentle guidance, walks, play, affection and the security of having people who are there for her every day. Tilli is one of the puppies who came to Hope after Natalia contacted us asking for help for dogs in need. The original situation involved young dogs found in a very remote area, with little chance of surviving without intervention. While we do not have enough information to say exactly which part of that story belongs to Tilli, we do know that she is now safe, cared for and ready to move forward. Being only around 7 kg, Tilli is a smaller puppy, but like any young dog she will still need patience, consistency and time as she learns about home life. Puppies bring plenty of fun, but they also need training, routine and reassurance while they grow into confident adult dogs.
