Timy is looking for a home. Timy came to us following an incident in which he bit another animal. At first, the male dog was very insecure and suspicious. For this reason, he tends to hide himself. If he can't quickly find a hiding spot, he'll step forward and show all his white teeth. Fortunately, he's easily won over with treats. If you turn this into a little game—for example, throwing treats for him to search for—he warms up more quickly. Once he no longer feels pressured, he becomes a very affectionate dog who will even voluntarily lie down next to people for cuddles. Nowadays, he’s always delighted when he sees his primary caregiver and stands wagging his tail by the fence, eagerly awaiting a greeting. The hustle and bustle at the animal shelter seems to be too much for him. As soon as the dogs in the neighboring kennels start barking, he runs around his outdoor enclosure; therefore, it’s possible that he might become territorial in his new home. At first, Timy was also anxious about putting on his harness, but we’re working diligently on that, and progress is steadily improving. In summary, he’s a sweet guy who simply needs someone who has patience and can offer him security. Due to the biting incident, he’s classified as dangerous.

Timy sucht ein Zuhause Timy kam aufgrund eines Beißvorfalles mit einem anderen Tier zu uns. Anfangs ist der Rüde sehr verunsichert und misstrauisch. Aus diesem Grund versteckt er sich gerne. Findet er so schnell kein Versteck, geht er nach vorne und zeigt all seine weißen Beißerchen. Glücklicherweise ist er mit Leckerlies bestechlich. Macht man daraus ein kleines Spiel, z.B. Leckerlies werfen und er muss diese suchen, taut er schneller auf. Wenn er sich dann nicht mehr bedrängt fühlt, ist er ein ganz verschmuster Hund, der sich dann auch freiwillig zum Menschen legt, um gekuschelt zu werden. Mittlerweile freut er sich immer, wenn er seine Bezugsperson sieht und steht schwanzwedelnd am Zaun und wartet auf die Begrüßung. Der Trubel im Tierheim scheint zu viel für ihn zu sein. Sobald die Hunde in den Nebenzwingern Alarm machen, rennt er sein Außengehege ab, daher kann es sein, dass er im neuen Zuhause territorial wäre. Timy war anfangs auch noch ängstlich, was das Geschirr anziehen betraf, aber daran wird fleißig gearbeitet und es wird immer besser. Zusammengefasst ist er ein lieber Kerl, der einfach jemanden braucht, der Geduld hat und ihm Sicherheit bietet. Aufgrund des Beißvorfalles ist er als gefährlich eingestuft.
