Toby came to Farplace on 29th September 2023, when he was estimated to be just three months old. He’s been with us for quite a long time now and is still waiting patiently for someone to give him the quiet, loving home he deserves. Toby is a very shy boy, but with plenty of patience and reassurance, he’s learning that people can be trusted. Once he feels comfortable, he absolutely loves a good scrub around the head! Toby is a real cat’s cat and absolutely loves the company of other cats. Having a confident feline friend makes a huge difference to him, and we’d really like him to go to his new home with one of his friends from Farplace. He often finds the courage to join in when he sees another cat getting fuss, so having a companion would really help him build his confidence. He’s looking for a quiet, patient home where he can settle in at his own pace without too much noise or pressure. He’ll need someone who understands that he may take a little while to show his true personality, but we’re assure you he’s be worth the wait. Toby also loves spending time outside in our secure areas and enjoys sunbathing, so access to a secure catio or enclosed garden would be a lovely bonus for him, although it isn’t essential. As with all of our cats, Toby will leave Farplace castrated, microchipped and vaccinated, with his flea and worm treatment up to date, and following a full health check. We’ll also provide you with a full copy of his veterinary records to keep for your own records when he goes off to his new home. Indoor-only policy If you feel you could offer this lovely cat the right home, please email for an adoption questionnaire. We can then arrange a home check. We are happy to consider homes up to around two hours’ travel from the rescue. Any further than this can make it difficult for us to offer the support we feel is important after adoption.
