Meet Turtle, a sweet, affectionate young girl with a playful spirit who is ready to find a family to help her blossom. She may be a little shy at first, but with patience, gentle handling and a few tasty treats, she quickly builds trust and loves nothing more than cuddles with her favourite people. Turtle is still learning about the world, so she is looking for experienced owners who understand large breeds and are excited to continue her training. She enjoys playing with smaller dogs, although she can be a little enthusiastic, while larger dogs can make her feel unsure, so she will need calm, positive social experiences. Following a difficult experience in a previous home, Turtle is happiest as the only pet, where she won't have to share toys or attention. She would thrive in a quieter area with a private garden to build her confidence and practice her puppy skills. Turtle is best suited to a home with older teenagers who will respect her space and help her settle at her own pace. With consistency, encouragement and lots of fun training, this gentle youngster has all the potential to grow into a wonderfully loyal and loving companion.
