Tutiņ could be described as: unassuming, "dark fur." In character, she is likely a fighter, but one who quietly bears her life's hardships—scars from sibling fights, finding solace in herself, and struggling to survive. But surviving two years for an elderly girl truly required something: from puppyhood, she was kept in a small pen near the shed, where a fence was the only barrier between her and the elements... For the first week at the shelter, Tutiņ simply lay still, trying to be invisible. After a few days, we began to sit by her voljerā and lie close to her. To soothe her. To encourage her. To make her hear and feel: it will be okay. In the second week, we made the decision to take the "sleeping princess" out to see where she had landed, and to show her that there were also trees, greenery, the sun shining, and freedom. In the pasture, the puppy initially wandered back and forth along the longest stretch of the ditch, here and there. Even after a week, after overcoming her fear, she already came to us on her own, and we could see that she was beginning to appreciate attention and care. Then we started looking for a four-legged friend for her and taking her on walks further from the shelter. At present, we can say: Tuta is ready for adoption. A compact, slightly below average size (18 kg) puppy, adapted to life in a quiet environment (without young children every day—this limitation is not due to aggression, but simply because for Tutiņ at the beginning of her journey, the joyous nudge of a child's hand could be a lesson). She can live in an apartment or a private home, but must be in an outdoor enclosure, similar to a human. She is happy to go on walks and truly enjoys the walks. She will rely on and love her humans not only with dependence and affection, but also with boundless trust. She will be neutral and friendly towards strangers. At the shelter, Tutiņ did not demonstrate any aggression in the large enclosure, so we took her in—she deserves such a home. Over time, with dependence and trust, she will transform from a quiet, friendly "dark fur" into a joyful, not grumpy, confident, playful, and healthy sunbeam.

Izskatā par Tutiņu var teikt: neizteiksmīga, “pelēka pelīte”. Raksturā, visticamāk, viņa ir cīnītāja, bet no tām, kas savas dzīves grūtības klusi nes sevī – sakož zobus, ieraujas sevī un cenšas izdzīvot. Bet izdzīvot divus gadus vecajam meitēnam tiešām vajadzēja: no kucēna vecuma viņa turēta īsā ķēdē pie šķūņa, kur būdas vietā pret sienu bijis vien atstutēts šīferis… Pirmo nedēļu patversmē Tutiņa tikai sastingusi gulēja, cenšoties būt neredzama. Pēc pāris dienām mēs sākām ik pa laikam iet pie viņas voljerā un gūlāmies blakus. Lai nomierinātu. Lai iedrošinātu. Lai viņa sadzirdētu un sajustu: būs labi. Otrajā nedēļā pieņēmām lēmumu “guļošo princesi” tomēr vest ārā, lai viņa apskatās, kur nonākusi, un redz, ka apkārt ir arī koki, zaļa zāle, spīd saule un valda brīvība. Pastaigu laukumā sunīte sākumā izmisusi skraidīja gar attālāko žoga malu turpu šurpu, turpu šurpu. Vēl pēc nedēļas, baiļu biklumu pārvarot, viņa jau pati nāca mums klāt, un varēja redzēt, ka glāstus un uzmanību sāk patiesi izbaudīt. Kompakta, mazliet zem vidēja auguma (18 kg) sunīte, kura piemērota dzīvei klusinātā vidē (bez maziem bērniem ikdienā – šis ierobežojums nav agresijas dēļ, bet vienkārši Tutai vismaz sākuma periodā bērnu dzīvespriecīgais ņigu-ņegu varētu būt mulsinošs). Var dzīvot dzīvoklī (ir ļoti kārtīga) vai privātmājā, bet obligāti iekštelpās, līdzās cilvēkam. Teicami iet pavadiņā, un pastaigas viņai patiesi patīk. Pret saviem cilvēkiem viņa atplauks ne tikai paļāvībā un mīlestībā, bet arī bezgalīgā uzticībā. Pret ciemiņiem un svešiniekiem būs neitrāla, bikla. Pat vislielākajā izbīlī pirmajās dienās patversmē Tutucis mums ne kripatu agresijas nenodemonstrēja, līdz ar to pieņemam – viņai tāda nepiemīt. Toties ar laiku, atplaukstot paļāvībā un uzticībā, viņa gan jau no klusas, biklas “pelēkās pelītes” pārvērtīsies dzīvespriecīgā, nebēdnīgā, draiskā, rotaļīgā un aušīgā suņjaunkundzē.
