Support and Health How much training will I need? Needs settling in Can I be left alone? Yes Twix has been able to be home alone for 5 hours, only reacting if people walked past the house. This length of time would need to be worked towards in a new home. Once Twix feels comfortable in the new environment he will likely be able to build up to these longer times alone. Do I have any medical conditions? None This pet has a clean bill of health and can be fully insured after rehoming. Who I can live with Can I live with dogs? No Can I live with cats? No Can I live with small pets? No Additional information Twix is able most of the time to know when other dogs are anxious or unsocial, and give them space. He will comfortably walk by them and wander off to do his own thing. He doesn’t show a lot of excitement towards other dogs and seems to prefer the company of people. Therefore, he is best suited to being the only dog in the home. Family and environment What kind of family am I looking for? Twix may take a moment to realise you want to be his friend. But once he does he will be affectionate and most likely become your sofa cuddle buddy. Due to this initial uncertainty, any children in the home need to be aged 11 years plus. What type of environment would suit me? Twix will need a secure, private garden to have a space of his own. He loves to run around and get out his zoomies. Twix will also play fetch endlessly so having his own garden makes him a happy boy. About Twix Twix is a great character if you want someone with the personality of a jack Russell and the affection of a Dachshund, he’s your guy! Twix does love balls and any toys really, he will happily play tug-a-war with his people or have a ball thrown. The toys don’t tend to last too long though. Twix also loves exploring the environment by sniffing everything and will love a good walk with ground to investigate. Twix is such a cute and loveable character with ounces of energy.
