Urano del Matochar on ihastuttava pieni urospuolinen bretoni, vain kuusi vuotta vanha, hänen syntymäpäivänsä on 09/09/2019. Urano on pieni, erittäin aktiivinen koira, jolla on rajattomat energiat, utelias ja seurallinen luonne. Hän on melko itsenäinen, vaikka hän on ihastunut ihmisiin ja helppo käsitellä. Urano del Matochar is a lovely small male Brittany, just six years old, his date of birth is 09/09/2019. Urano is a small, very active dog with boundless energy, a curious and sociable nature. He is quite independent, although affectionate with people and easy to handle. He doesn’t yet know how to walk on a lead and tends to head off in all directions, however he settles well in the car. Urano weighs just 14 kg and is 50 cm high to the shoulders. Urano comes from a Brittany breeder near Madrid. We recently heard that the breeder was being evicted from his land and his 33 Brittanys were at risk. He managed to rehome 15 of the dogs and together with two other rescues we offered to take the remaining 18 dogs. The breeder brought them up to the north of Spain and SeBPRA took on 11 of the Brittanys. All are pedigree dogs, and they will have been used for hunting, breeding and showing. Several of the dogs have Champion titles and PAN certification (Prueba de Aptitudes Naturales (Natural Aptitudes Test), an official field evaluation that assesses a dog’s natural hunting instincts and is usually mandatory before a dog can claim a Champion show title. It ensures that dual purpose breeds still retain the working breed qualities. We know Poker, Roma, Tormenta, Xiloe, and Xirius have been shown, however the Brittany is a true dual purpose breed, so these dogs are just as likely to have been out hunting last weekend as in the show ring.
