Vanilja, Mansikka, Toffee ja Mokka… neljä elämää, jotka eivät ole edes kahden kuukauden ikäisiä. Ne jätettiin hylätyksi laatikkoon roskakorin viereen, ikään kuin ne eivät olisi tunteneet mitään, ikään kuin niillä ei olisi ollut merkitystä. Ne ovat vain vauvoja, jotka vaativat pohjimmiltaan vain perusasiat: lämpöä, ruokaa, hoivaa... ja paljon rakkautta. Niiden takana on vieläkin vaikeampi tarina: äiti varmasti etsii heitä, hänen nisänsä täynnä maitoa, mutta hän ei kykene ymmärtämään, missä pienet vauvat ovat. Heidän erottaminen näin on perusteeton. Sterilointi ja kastraatio eivät ole vaihtoehto – se on vastuu. Sillä kun sitä ei tehdä, lopputulos on aina sama: lisää pentueita, lisää hylätyksi jätettyjä, lisää kärsimystä. Ei ollut niin vaikeaa odottaa hieman pidempään. Ei ollut niin vaikeaa tehdä oikea asia. Vanilla, Strawberry, Toffee and Mocha… four lives that haven’t even reached two months old. They were abandoned inside a box, next to a rubbish bin, as if they felt nothing, as if they didn’t matter. They are just babies asking for the bare essentials: warmth, food, care… and lots of love. Behind them lies an even harder story: a mother surely searching for them, her teats full of milk, unable to understand where her little ones are. Separating them like this is unjustifiable. Spaying and neutering isn’t an option, it’s a responsibility. Because when it isn’t done, the result is always the same: more litters, more abandonment, more suffering. It wasn’t that hard to wait a little longer. It wasn’t that hard to do the right thing. They didn’t choose to be born, but they do deserve a chance to live a dignified life. 🐾 Vanilla, Strawberry, Toffee and Mocha are now looking for a family to give them back their hope.
