Adoptoi Whisper

Dogs marked as "rescue" have an even more urgent need to find a family. This can be related to their age, a particular illness, or distress at the shelter. Found wandering, Whisper was dropped off by the police. Unidentified and never claimed, we unfortunately know nothing about his past or his story. A few months ago, we noticed health issues and felt his distress at the shelter particularly. We therefore launched an appeal on social networks to find him a family and allow him to recover. Adopted after our video, Whisper is unfortunately back at the shelter because he cannot stay alone, which has become too difficult for his adopters to manage. He is a very anxious dog, whether due to his health or his unknown past. Loneliness is very difficult for him today. In his previous home, everything went well for about six months, then after a stay in a boarding facility, his behavior changed when he returned: he started destroying things, even attacking his cage and opening a fridge to look for food. It is difficult to know exactly what triggered this change, but one thing is certain: loneliness is very difficult for him today. Whisper has a real need for presence and closeness to feel calm and safe.

Les chiens signalés en « sauvetage » ont un besoin encore plus urgent de trouver une famille. Cela peut être lié à leur âge, une pathologie particulière ou un mal-être au refuge. Trouvé errant, Whisper a été déposé par la police. Non identifié et jamais réclamé, nous ne connaissons malheureusement rien de son passé, ni de son histoire. Il y a quelques mois, nous avons décelé des problèmes de santé et avons particulièrement ressenti son mal-être au refuge. Nous avons donc lancé un appel à l’aide sur les réseaux sociaux afin de lui trouver une famille et lui permettre de se remettre sur pied. Adopté suite à notre vidéo, Whisper est malheureusement de retour au refuge car il ne parvient pas à rester seul, ce qui est devenu trop difficile à gérer pour ses adoptants. C’est un chien très anxieux, que ce soit en lien avec sa santé ou son passé inconnu. La solitude est aujourd’hui très compliquée pour lui. Dans son précédent foyer, tout se passait bien pendant environ six mois, puis après un séjour en pension, son comportement a changé à son retour : il a commencé à détruire, jusqu’à s’attaquer à sa cage et même à ouvrir un frigo pour chercher de la nourriture. Il est difficile de savoir exactement ce qui a déclenché ce basculement, mais une chose est certaine : la solitude est aujourd’hui très difficile pour lui. Whisper a un réel besoin de présence et de proximité pour se sentir apaisé et en sécurité.
