Adoptoi Wren

Wren is a bouncy girl with so much love to give! She's very friendly with new people and will likely ask for lots of fuss and cuddles. Being a Shepherd, she has a very active brain so requires a higher-than-average amount of mental stimulation in the form of games and puzzles. Wren is on a muzzle disclaimer for her vet visits as she has shown some avoidant behaviours, and her adopters will receive more information and support for this upon meeting her. She's a super curious girl and loves to explore new environments, keen to have lots of sniffs. Wren doesn't love to be left by herself and can be vocal when trying to get attention from her handlers, so she may need some ongoing guidance around periods of separation. Whilst she is very calm around cars and traffic, she can get travel sick so lots of long distance travel wouldn't be suitable for her. Wren is a young German Shepherd at just a year old and is looking to find her forever home! Wren can live with children of primary school age, so would make a lovely addition to a family home. We have no history of Wren living with other dogs or animals, so she may be able to share her home pending some successful pre-adoption mixes. Her adopters will need to continue the progress she has been making here with her training, and she has no history of being left alone so they should also be willing to spend lots of time with her initially. A private garden is not necessary for Wren, provided she is taken out regularly for exercise, so she'd be happy living in an open plan home or flat. She loves people so will be happy greeting visitors in the home.
