Among all the light beige little wriggly mice, Yari immediately stands out. With his distinctive white blaze, the dark markings around his eyes, and his gentle gaze, he is simply unmistakable. Found together with his mother Callia and his siblings in the middle of a field, far from any houses or civilization, Callia tried to care for them all on her own—using the last milk she had, even though her strength was barely enough. It is wonderful that this little family was found in time. Yari is about 2 months old and currently around 25–30 cm in size. Since his mother measures about 47 cm, he is expected to grow into a medium-sized male dog. His face is particularly striking and at the same time marked by a gentle expression. Around his eyes, he carries darker markings, almost like a small mask. At the moment, Yari is more cautious and reserved. He takes his time to observe new situations from a safe distance before slowly approaching. At the same time, one can clearly see his curiosity. Together with his siblings, he discovers more and more of his small world in the kennel each day. When visitors come, he often stays a bit in the background with his mother or observes attentively what is happening around him. He appears calm, thoughtful, and interested. Yari is still at the very beginning of his life and has the right to arrive at his own pace. His character will surely continue to develop in the coming weeks. Currently, Yari is still too young for travel arrangements and must still grow up together with his mother and siblings. In July, he will be ready for his own home. Then, he will bring everything a young puppy brings: curiosity, enthusiasm for life, a need for cuddles, and of course, puppy-like mischief. Whoever takes Yari into their home should bring enough time, patience, and understanding. He must first learn what life in a home is like, which includes potty training, everyday noises, quiet phases, and everything that is second nature to us. Without his siblings and without his mother, he needs security, affection, love, and loving companionship. He is still unfamiliar with being alone and must learn step by step that he is safe and that someone always returns. Positive dog training classes can be a wonderful support and help in creating the foundations for a relaxed coexistence. A puppy means work, responsibility, patience, and sometimes sleepless nights, but it also means pure joy, happiness, and a lot of love. After a successful adoption, a foster home would also be a valuable opportunity for the little one! And once again, thank you, Jessy! You also gave Yari its name! Date: 26.05. Zwischen all den hellbeigen kleinen Wuselmäusen fällt Yari sofort auf. Mit seiner markanten weißen Blesse, der dunklen Zeichnung um die Augen und seinem sanften Blick ist er einfach unverwechselbar. Gefunden wurde Yari gemeinsam mit seiner Mama Callia und seinen Geschwistern mitten auf einem Feld, weit entfernt von Häusern oder Zivilisation. Allein mit ihren Welpen versuchte Callia, sie zu versorgen – mit der letzten Milch, die sie noch hatte, obwohl ihre Kräfte kaum noch ausreichten. Umso schöner ist es, dass die kleine Familie rechtzeitig gefunden werden konnte. Yari ist etwa 2 Monate alt und aktuell ungefähr 25–30 cm groß. Da seine Mama etwa 47 cm misst, wird er vermutlich einmal ein mittelgroßer Rüde werden. Sein Gesicht ist besonders markant und gleichzeitig von einem weichen Ausdruck geprägt. Rund um seine Augen trägt er dunklere Abzeichen, fast wie eine kleine Maske. Im Moment zeigt sich Yari noch eher vorsichtig und zurückhaltend. Er nimmt sich Zeit, neue Situationen erst einmal aus sicherer Entfernung zu beobachten, bevor er sich langsam heranwagt. Gleichzeitig merkt man ihm seine Neugier deutlich an. Gemeinsam mit seinen Geschwistern entdeckt er Tag für Tag mehr von seiner kleinen Welt im Kennel. Wenn Besuch kommt, hält er sich häufig zunächst etwas im Hintergrund bei seiner Mama auf oder beobachtet aufmerksam, was um ihn herum passiert. Dabei wirkt er ruhig, bedacht und interessiert. Yari steht noch ganz am Anfang seines Lebens und darf in seinem eigenen Tempo ankommen. Sein Charakter wird sich in den kommenden Wochen sicher noch weiter entfalten. Aktuell ist Yari noch zu jung für die Ausreise und darf noch gemeinsam mit seiner Mama und seinen Geschwistern aufwachsen. Ab Juli ist er bereit für sein eigenes Zuhause. Dann bringt er alles mit, was ein junger Welpe mitbringt: Neugier, Lebensfreude, Kuschelbedarf und natürlich auch welpentypischen Unsinn. Wer Yari bei sich aufnimmt, sollte ausreichend Zeit, Geduld und Verständnis mitbringen. Er muss das Leben in einem Zuhause erst kennenlernen, dazu gehören Stubenreinheit, Alltagsgeräusche, Ruhephasen und alles, was für uns selbstverständlich ist. Ohne seine Geschwister und ohne seine Mama braucht er Sicherheit, Zuwendung, Liebe und liebevolle Begleitung. Auch das Alleinbleiben kennt er noch nicht und muss Schritt für Schritt lernen, dass er sicher ist und dass immer jemand wieder zurückkommt. Eine positiv arbeitende Hundeschule kann dabei eine wunderbare Unterstützung sein und helfen, gemeinsam die Grundlagen für ein entspanntes Zusammenleben zu schaffen. Ein Welpe bedeutet Arbeit, Verantwortung, Geduld und manchmal auch schlaflose Nächte, aber genauso bedeutet er pures Glück, Freude und ganz viel Liebe. Nach einer erfolgreichen Vorkontrolle und der Übernahme einer Schutzgebühr reist Yari gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt, entfloht und mit einem EU-Heimtierausweis in sein neues Zuhause.
