Luna and Neve, mixed-breed sisters resembling hunting dogs, arrived at the dog shelter in Avola (SR) on February 18. Abandoned in the Avola Antica area, they were rescued while wandering confused and hungry on the road. They were visited by the veterinarian who thinks they are between 4 and 5 months old, so they were spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and placed in a kennel. Perhaps those who abandoned them expected a different fate? Based on the estimated birth date and current weight, we estimate they will be medium to large adults.
