The two dwarf rabbits Rambi and BARA came to us from different reasons at the our shelter. The neutered male Rambi was born around March 2019 and was taken in as a rescue, as his previous owners no longer had enough time for him. His partner BARA came to us due to an allergy of the previous owners. She is unneutered and was born around March 2020. Rambi and BARA are looking for a quiet, loving home together in an indoor setting. Outdoor housing is also possible in the summer months, ideally only during the day for sunbathing, while they spend their nights protected in the house/apartment, as both are already a bit older. At the animal shelter, the two are rather shy. Rambi is very quiet, lives his comfortable "retired lifestyle," and likes to snuggle with BARA. BARA is a bit more curious, overall also quiet, and always looks forward to spending time together and being fed. Rambi has dental issues as well as chronic sniffles. BARA tested positive for EC and therefore has a slight head tilt, but she manages well with it. Both long for a loving home. Especially Rambi, who has outlived several partner animals and finally found a close bond with BARA, hopes to be able to leave the animal shelter behind with her.
