Ginny is an Argentine Dogo around 10 years old, with a more compact size than the standard. Despite coming from years of deprivation, she has not closed in: she is curious and open towards people, although she sets clear boundaries regarding handling, which must not be excessive or forced. She knows how to walk on a leash and wears a harness, but the world is still largely new for her. She needs to explore urban environments and unfamiliar spaces calmly, respecting her own processing times. Ginny is brave: although enclosed spaces initially make her a bit fearful, she enters and explores guided by her curious nature. With other dogs, she is generally well-disposed, but each interaction should be evaluated individually with care. We are working on her adaptation to cars and the city, and progress is steady. Ginny is looking for a family that can simply accompany her on her journey of discovery. For this reason, her adoption is conditional on a support process with our staff and trainers, a fundamental step to build a solid and aware understanding. Ginny è una Dogo Argentino di circa 10 anni, con una taglia più contenuta rispetto allo standard. Nonostante arrivi da anni di deprivazione, non si è chiusa: è curiosa e aperta verso le persone, anche se mette dei confini chiari sulla manipolazione, che non deve essere eccessiva o forzata. Sa andare al guinzaglio e indossa la pettorina, ma il mondo per lei è ancora un posto in gran parte nuovo. Va accompagnata nell’esplorazione dei contesti urbani e degli spazi sconosciuti con calma, rispettando i suoi tempi di elaborazione. Ginny è coraggiosa: anche se i luoghi chiusi le mettono inizialmente un po' di timore, entra ed esplora guidata dalla sua indole curiosa. Con gli altri cani è tendenzialmente ben disposta, ma ogni interazione va valutata singolarmente con attenzione. Stiamo lavorando sull'abitudine all'auto e alla città, e i progressi sono costanti. Ginny cerca una famiglia che sappia semplicemente accompagnarla nel suo percorso di scoperta. Per questo motivo, la sua adozione è subordinata a un percorso di affiancamento con il nostro personale e gli educatori, un passaggio fondamentale per costruire un’intesa solida e consapevole. Se cerchi una compagna di vita presente, capace di godersi il presente nonostante il passato, Ginny è pronta.
