She has been with us since 2019, after spending some time in foster care along with her kittens. They lived on the streets near a very busy road, and the person who fed them asked for our help, worried about their lives. We could not say that she is shy or scared, simply she feels better alone. There are moments when she joins us in the kitchen to ask for food separately, with a lot of common sense, and she is very happy if "we forget" about her there: at least then she has the peace she desires! Tzitzicutza does not like to be disturbed while eating or sleeping, but she accepts a little scratching on the head. Her back and belly are forbidden zones, so as long as you keep your hands where she likes, everything is fine. She is very quiet and you hardly notice if she is not feeling well, because most of the time she sleeps or sits in a soft basket or on a chair. This happened also when she had problems with her teeth, but fortunately we quickly noticed that she no longer came to the kitchen and ate with more difficulty. Now, without teeth, she is much happier and pain-free. She would feel more at home and probably change her behavior if she found a loving and patient family. But the thing that worries most in the case of an adoption request is that she is FIV positive. People who have had such cats know that yes, they need a bit more attention and maybe, just maybe, later on, additional medical care, but they also know that they can have long, happy, and normal lives, just like any other cats. And even though we know her chances are very low, it would not be fair to Tzitzicutza if we did not write her story. Tzitzicutza is a beautiful cat, quite round, who probably had a hard life on the streets. Sometimes she flinches when you touch her, even when she is awake, so her trust in us is not yet complete. It is true that she does not like taking pills or any kind of treatment, but we had to do it - and it seems she hasn't forgotten that. And yet, we believe she likes to be petted, as long as you do it according to her wishes: just on the head - and don't be fooled if she shows her belly, the answer is still no; you have her permission for a limited time, she will tell you when to stop; and the perfect moment is usually when she initiates it, but it is also acceptable if you start without scaring her. We acknowledge that she is not the easiest cat, and yet we are convinced that in the right home, with the right people, she will show more of her true personality and certainly be a happy cat. She deserves to go home, to be spoiled and loved, good and bad, until... She is only 5 years old, and a whole life ahead, so we hope luck will be on her side at least once and she will be seen by someone very special who will give her the chance she is waiting for. Adopt me! Adopt me from afar! The adoption of a kitten from our shelter is done based on an adoption contract. Why? Because we care! The conditions imposed by the association Friends of Cats are easy to respect when the person adopting is responsible and truly loves the cats. Thank you!

Este la noi din 2019, dupa ce a petrecut un pic de timp in foster, impreuna cu puii ei. Au trait pe strazi, langa o sosea foarte aglomerata, si persoana care ii hranea ne-a cerut ajutorul, ingrijorata pentru vietile lor. Nu am putea spune ca e timida sau speriata, pur si simplu se simte mai bine singura. Sunt momente cand ni se alatura in bucatarie ca sa ceara mancare separat, cu foarte mult bun simt, si e foarte fericita daca „uitam” de ea acolo: macar atunci are linistea pe care si-o doreste! Tzitzicutza nu suporta sa fie deranjata in timp ce mananca sau doarme, dar accepta putina mangaiere pe cap. Spatele si burtica ei sunt zone interzise, asa ca atata timp cat iti tii mainile acolo unde ii place, totul este bine. E foarte linistita si abia observi daca nu se simte bine, pentru ca de cele mai multe ori doarme sau sta intr-un cos moale sau pe un scaun. Asa s-a intamplat si cand a avut probleme cu dintii dar, din fericire, am observat destul de repede ca nu mai vine in bucatarie si ca mananca cu mai multa dificultate. Acum, fara dinti, e mult mai fericita si fara durere. S-ar simti mai in largul ei si probabil si-ar schimba comportamentul daca ar gasi o familie iubitoare si rabdatoare. Dar lucrul care deranjeaza cel mai mult in cazul unei cereri de adoptie, e ca e pozitiva la FIV. Oamenii care au avut astfel de pisici stiu ca da, au nevoie de putin mai multa atentie si poate, doar poate, mai tarziu, de ingrijiri medicale suplimentare, dar la fel de bine stiu si ca pot avea vieti lungi, fericite si normale, la fel ca oricare alte pisici. Si chiar daca stim ca sansele ei sunt foarte mici, nu ar fi corect fata de Tzitzicutza daca nu am scrie si povestea ei. Tzitzicutza e o frumusete de pisica, destul de rotunjoara, care cel mai probabil a avut o viata grea pe strazi. Uneori tresare cand o atingi, chiar daca e treaza, asa ca increderea ei in noi nu e inca totala. E adevarat si ca nu ii place sa primeasca pastile sau orice fel de tratament, dar pur si simplu a trebuit sa o facem – si se pare ca nu a uitat asta. Si totusi, credem ca ii place sa fie mangaiata, atata timp cat o faci conform dorintelor ei: doar pe cap – si nu te lasa pacalit daca iti arata burtica, raspunsul e tot nu; ai acordul ei pentru o perioada limitata de timp, iti va spune ea cand sa te opresti; iar momentul perfect e de obicei cand cere ea, dar e acceptabil si daca initiezi tu fara sa o sperii. Recunoastem, nu e cea mai “usoara” pisica si totusi, suntem convinsi ca intr-o casa potrivita, cu oamenii potriviti, ar arata mai multe din adevarata ei personalitate si cu siguranta ar fi o pisica fericita. Merita sa mearga acasa, sa fie rasfatata si iubita la bine si la rau, pana cand… Are doar 5 ani, si o viata intreaga inainte, asa ca speram ca norocul va fi de partea ei macar o data si va fi vazuta de cineva foarte special care ii va oferi sansa pe care o asteapta. Adopta-ma! Adopta-ma la distanta! Adoptia unei pisicute din adapostul nostru se face in baza unui contract de adoptie. De ce? Pentru ca ne pasa! Conditiile impuse de Asociatia Prietenii Pisicilor sunt usor de respectat atunci cand persoana care adopta este responsabila si iubeste intr-adevar pisicile. Va multumim!
