He is still nameless, but right now, all that matters for this little guy is saving his life. When our Marina was taking her dogs for a walk this morning, she spotted a poisoned dog lying on the ground. He was already having seizures and foam at the mouth. Our caregivers always have an emergency kit on hand, so Marina was able to give him an injection right away. Then she called Vasile to come and pick up the dog. He was immediately taken to the Casa and hooked up to an IV. Unfortunately, he is in very poor condition. He is now in quarantine, and we can only hope that he survives this vicious poisoning. It is so terrible that such brutal methods are still being used to decimate the animals. We hope so much that the little guy will pull through; he is about two years old and has his whole life ahead of him…….. May 19, 2017: Bim is fighting, and the first signs of improvement are showing. He stands up and shows interest. Brave little man…. Bim has become a wonderful, healthy dog who loves people and also gets along well with his canine buddies.

Noch ist er namenlos, aber gerade gibt es für diesen kleinen Mann wichtigeres, nämlich sein Leben retten. Als heute Morgen unsere Marina mit ihren Hunden spazieren ging, sah sie einen vergifteten Hund am Boden liegen. Er hatte schon Zuckungen und Schaum vor dem Maul. Unsere Pflegerinnen haben immer eine Erstausstattung für Soforthilfe dabei, so dass Marina ihm sofort was spritzen konnte. Dann rief sie Vasile an und bat, den Hund abzuholen. Sofort kam er in die Casa und wurde dort an den Tropf gehängt. Es geht ihm leider sehr schlecht. Er ist jetzt in der Quarantäne und wir können nur hoffen, dass er den gemeinen Giftanschlag überlebt. Es ist so schlimm, dass noch immer auf diese brutale Art versucht wird, die Tiere zu dezimieren. Wir hoffen so sehr, dass der Bub überlebt, er ist so um die 2 Jahre alt, hat also das ganze Leben noch vor sich…….. 19.05.17: Bim kämpft und die ersten Erfolge zeigen sich. Er steht auf und zeigt Interesse. Tapferer kleiner Mann…. Bim ist ein ganz toller, gesunder Hund geworden, der Menschen liebt und auch mit den Hundekumpeln gut auskommt.
