He enjoys exploring on walks, particularly in the countryside, and walks nicely on the lead. Copper loves his food and treats, which makes training enjoyable and rewarding. While he can sometimes feel nervous, with gentle support and understanding he settles well and shows just how affectionate and loyal he can be. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will return your love tenfold and share peaceful moments by your side, Copper could be the perfect dog for you. Copper is looking for a calm, understanding home where he can feel safe, relaxed, and truly loved. He would need to be the only dog in the home and would thrive in a quieter environment, ideally in a peaceful location. A home with adopters who enjoy gentle countryside walks and cosy evenings in would suit Copper perfectly. Copper can live with sensible children aged 12 and over who understand when he may need reassurance. He can be left alone for up to two hours once settled but much prefers having his people nearby, as he loves companionship.
