Four-year-old hunting dog, Dolly, is one of the five hunting dogs that were thrown out before winter. After several months of wandering, fear, and hunger, we managed to retrieve her along with her sister when they were trapped in a retention pond. She has regained her fur but is still very fearful of people. She will need a very calm home, a well-fenced outdoor area, and patient people who will take the time to understand her behavior and needs before any adoption.

Belle chienne de chasse de 4 ans, Dolly fait partie des 5 chiens de chasse qui ont été jetés dehors avant l’hiver. Après plusieurs mois d’errance, de terreur et de faim, nous avions réussi à la récupérer avec sa soeur alors qu’elles étaient coincées dans un bassin de rétention. Elle a repris du poil de la bête mais est encore très craintive des hommes. Elle aura besoin d’un foyer très calme, d’un extérieur très bien clôturé ++, de personnes très patientes qui vont prendre le temps de connaître son comportement et ses besoins avant toute adoption.
