Adoption History: The Rubio, as we call him at the animal shelter, is the first to greet you as you arrive at the Center. Our "gordi" is the one who greets visitors, rubbing against your legs while looking at you with his eyes, one of each color, and giving you a warm welcome. Before living with us, he belonged to a feral cat colony in a village in Madrid, where some wild ones had "enjoyed" shooting him with pellets, resulting in the loss of sight in one of his eyes. Due to this, we decided to keep him at the animal shelter; he was sociable enough to approach people, which was detrimental to him. We couldn't keep him in the cattery with the other cats as he loves chasing them, and being accustomed to living freely, he is one of the cats that roams the CIAAM. He has been with us for over four years, becoming increasingly affectionate with people, loving to greet everyone, and is a real "tragoncete" (big eater)! We are presenting him now, hoping that a suitable family will appear. Historial de adopción: El Rubio, como lo llamamos en el albergue, es el primero que viene a saludarte según llegas al Centro. Nuestro «gordi» es el que recibe a los visitantes, se restriega entre tus piernas mirándote con sus ojos, uno de cada color, y te da la bienvenida. Antes de vivir con nosotros pertenecía a una colonia felina de un pueblo de Madrid, donde algunos salvajes se habían «divertido» disparándole con perdigones, como consecuencia de ello perdió la vista en uno de sus ojos. Por este motivo decidimos quedárnoslo en el albergue, era lo suficientemente sociable como para acercarse a la gente y esto fue nefasto para él. No podíamos dejarlo en la gatera con los demás gatos ya que le encanta perseguirlos y, como estaba acostumbrado a vivir en libertad es uno de los gatos que vive suelto por el CIAAM. Lleva ya más de cuatro años con nosotros, cada vez es más cariñoso con la gente, le encanta saludar a todos y es un «tragoncete» de cuidado!
