Hello, my name is Elvis, a Podenco hound who once had a family... and the next day, they were gone. My owners abandoned me, without a second thought, and since then, I've been trying to understand what happened and, most importantly, find a new home where they will want to stay with me forever. Despite everything, I remain a very social dog. I love people, I love being talked to, and I love feeling accompanied. I don't hold grudges; I prefer to look forward. Now, I live with other dogs and cats, and I get along well with everyone. I'm one of those who adapt, who observe, who respect, and who appreciate every kind gesture. They say I have a noble, calm, and very sweet temperament. I just know that I like being close, going for walks, smelling the world, and coming home knowing someone is waiting for me. That's what I miss the most: belonging to someone. I am looking for a family that will give me a second chance. A home where I won't be superfluous, where I can be Elvis... and feel loved. Hola, soy Elvis, un podenco que un día tuvo familia… y al siguiente ya no. Mis dueños me abandonaron, así, sin más, y desde entonces estoy intentando entender qué pasó y, sobre todo, buscar un nuevo hogar donde sí quieran quedarse conmigo para siempre. A pesar de todo, sigo siendo un perro muy sociable. Me encanta la gente, me encanta que me hablen y me encanta sentirme acompañado. No guardo rencor; prefiero mirar hacia adelante. Ahora convivo con otros perros y gatos, y me llevo bien con todos. Soy de esos que se adaptan, que observan, que respetan y que agradecen cada gesto bonito. Dicen que tengo un carácter noble, tranquilo y muy dulce. Yo solo sé que me gusta estar cerca, pasear, oler el mundo y volver a casa sabiendo que alguien me espera. Eso es lo que más echo de menos: pertenecer a alguien. Busco una familia que me dé una segunda oportunidad. Una casa donde no vuelva a sobrar, donde pueda ser Elvis… y sentirme querido.
