Jullian is a kitten that is not yet social and prefers to keep people at a distance for now. He chooses to observe first and feels safest when he can decide how close someone gets. Petting or active contact is not allowed at this time, and that's completely okay. For Jullian, we are looking for a quiet home with someone experienced with cats who understands that trust cannot be forced. We do not expect him to become a cuddly cat immediately - or ever. What we do hope is that he gets the time and space to be himself with the right person. Maybe he remains a quiet housemate, maybe in the future some cautious trust develops... we cannot predict that. Jullian especially needs patience, understanding, and an environment without pressure. Someone who learns to read small signals and values them, and who finds satisfaction in offering safety, regardless of what he gets in return. Jullian is een katje dat nog niet sociaal is en mensen voorlopig liever op afstand houdt. Hij kiest ervoor om eerst te observeren en voelt zich het veiligst wanneer hij zelf mag bepalen hoe dichtbij iemand komt. Aaien of actief contact laat hij op dit moment niet toe, en dat is helemaal oké. Voor Jullian zoeken we een rustige thuis bij iemand met ervaring met katten, die begrijpt dat vertrouwen niet kan worden afgedwongen. We verwachten niet dat hij meteen – of ooit – een knuffelkat wordt. Wat we wél hopen, is dat hij bij de juiste persoon de tijd en ruimte krijgt om zichzelf te zijn. Misschien blijft hij een stille huisgenoot, misschien groeit er op termijn voorzichtig vertrouwen… dat kunnen we niet voorspellen. Jullian heeft vooral nood aan geduld, begrip en een omgeving zonder druk. Iemand die kleine signalen leert lezen en waardeert, en die voldoening haalt uit het bieden van veiligheid, ongeacht wat hij ervoor terugkrijgt.
