A Broken Heart in Search of a Home: The Story of Lovely Lara For years, Lara and her sister Jara were inseparable. They spent years at the Cieza facility, waiting for walks and attention that rarely came. They only had each other. When they moved to Los Infiernos, things finally started to change—but with a bittersweet twist. Within weeks, Jara was adopted and moved to her new life in Holland. Since then, "Lovely Lara" has looked completely lost. The volunteers call her lovely for a reason; she is a gentle soul who has spent her whole life waiting. Now, she’s waiting alone. We want to see her heart mended and her tail wagging again in a home of her own.
