Dear Tierheim team, here is Maya's Happy End story: 3 years ago, my sister went on a hunger strike to convince my parents to get a dog. Despite the enormous pressure she built up, they held their ground, and in February, they surprisingly gave in to a new attempt, but parents do not always understand. At first, another dog had caught the interest of my family (I must say, not me), but Manrico then showed us Maya and we fell in love. She is so beautiful, those wonderful blue eyes, that adorable snout, I often have to make an effort not to eat her up she is so sweet. At first, we were worried that she did not want to cuddle much, she had barely come to trust us, but now she sits with my mother at the crime scene and lets herself be petted. Maya is very skeptical of men, which my sister and I found immediately sympathetic. She had a lot of fear of my brother at first, he was also a bit skeptical. But even the huge tough guy has melted and wants to cuddle with Maya. Now she has also realized that he is actually quite harmless and has the most treats with him. The transformation from a dog filled with fear to one that knows it is okay to play with us makes us happy. I would be ready to trade my brother for her if I had to. Liebes Tierheimteam, hier ist Mayas Happy End Geschichte: 3 Jahre ist es schon her, dass meine Schwester in einen Hungerstreik getreten ist um meine Eltern von einem Hund zu überzeugen. Dem enormen Druck den sie aufgebaut hat, haben sie standgehalten und bei einem neuen Versuch im Februar erstaunlich leicht nachgegeben, aber Eltern muss man ja nicht verstehen. Zuerst hat meiner Familie ein anderer Hund gefallen (mir noch nie, möchte ich dazu sagen) doch Manrico hat uns dann Maya gezeigt und wir haben uns verliebt. Sie ist so schön, diese blauen Augen die wunderschöne Schnauze, des öfteren muss ich mich bemühen, sie nicht aufzufressenn so süß ist sie. Am Anfang hatten wir Sorgen, dass sie nicht so gerne kuscheln will, sie hat sich ja kaum an uns rangetraut, aber jetzt sitzt sie mit meiner Mutter vorm Tatort und lässt sich durchkraulen. Maya ist sehr skeptisch Männern gegenüber, was meiner Schwester und mir aber sofort sympathisch war. Vor meinem Bruder hatte sie am Anfang richtig Angst, auch er war etwas skeptisch. Aber sogar der riesige harte Kerl ist voll aufgeweicht und will mit Maya kuscheln. Inzwischen hat auch sie festgestellt, dass er ja eigentlich recht harmlos ist und vor allem am meisten Leckerlis bei sich trägt. Den Wandel von einem vor Angst erfülltem Hund zu einem der weiß, dass es okay ist mit uns zu spielen, macht uns glücklich. Ich wäre bereit meinem Bruder gegen sie zu tauschen wenn ich müsste.
