Paule appeared as a gaunt, shy shadow in the garden of the foster home. It took weeks for him to warm up. He had nothing to do with people or other cats. But hunger eventually convinced him, and he slowly began to build trust. At the vet, it turned out that he was neutered. Additionally, he was missing fur around his neck, possibly due to an allergic reaction to a flea collar. However, no one was missing him. Since Paule marked everything in the house despite being allowed outdoors and leaving no stone unturned, it was clear that his chances of finding a new home were zero. He is a very special character, showing autistic tendencies and stubbornly sticking to his preferences. The food bowl is 10 cm further to the left? Not with Paule, it stays put. He remained in foster care with his finders and is now a real old man who regularly makes the rounds around the house and then rests a lot. But he remained alert and attentive, only arthritis and a thyroid dysfunction need to be treated. We are very happy to have a sponsor for his medications and his regular vet visits every four weeks. This cat needs outdoor access.

Paule tauchte als abgemagerter scheuer Schatten im Garten der Pflegestelle auf. Es dauerte Wochen an ihn heranzukommen. Mit Menschen und anderen Katzen wollte er nichts zu tun haben. Doch der Hunger überzeugte ihn, so dass er langsam wieder Vertrauen aufbaute. Beim Tierarzt stellte sich heraus, dass er kastriert war. Außerdem fehlt ihm um den Hals herum Fell, eventuell durch eine allergische Reaktion auf ein Flohhalsband. Doch er wurde von niemandem vermisst. Da Paule alles in der Wohnung markierte trotz Freigang und wirklich nichts ausließ, war klar, dass seine Chance auf ein neues Zuhause gleich null waren. Er ist ein sehr spezieller Charakter, zeigt autistische Züge und beharrt stoisch auf seine Vorlieben. Das Futter steht 10 cm weiter links? Nicht mit Paule, da bleibt es stehen. Er blieb als Pflegekater bei seinen Findern und ist jetzt wirklich ein alter Herr geworden, der regelmäßig die Runde ums Haus macht und dann viel ruht. Aber wach und aufmerksam ist er geblieben, nur die Arthrose und eine Schilddrüsenüberfunktion müssen behandelt werden. Für die Medikamente und seine regelmäßigen Arztbesuche alle vier Wochen freuen wir uns sehr über eine Patenschaft.
