Admission to the animal shelter since: 24.09.2025 Über Pluto The little Knickohr rabbit is eagerly waiting for a second chance! Pluto's life began on the streets of Romania. There, as a half-grown dwarf, he stumbled into a snare, which unfortunately left scars and lasting damage to one of his hind legs. But this doesn't deter him; he just feels the cold occasionally in the affected joint. So began his journey into the world of animal welfare, and he was allowed to move into a loving home in Germany. The family did everything right and Pluto was well trained. Driving, sitting, place, walking on a leash—none of it was a problem! Only, living together became increasingly stressful. For Pluto, the child was grueling and disturbing, and he had chosen the housewife as his preferred companion, with the husband being seen as unnecessary. And so, Pluto came to us. As one would wish for an organization: With a perfectly fitting, well-trained muzzle and descriptions for living together that have protected the entire family! But, the living together as such was not sustainable. Pluto is not fond of strangers at first; if you don't want to cuddle with him right away but go on a shared adventure into the world, he will eventually seek physical proximity. But it takes time and patience for a real friendship to develop; and many adventures! Our little Knickohr rabbit finds it hard to maintain a calm demeanor and not be at the center of attention. His joy with trusted people knows no bounds, as if they hadn't seen each other in three years, not just two minutes. By now, he has learned to adjust his overwhelming joy to social norms and has also learned that he is too big to enjoy life as a lap dog. The young intact male dog still has much to learn about rest and relaxation; if met fairly, he is a great companion! Additionally, he must learn that he does not hold the reins in the relationship, or his charming and socially motivated nature will come to the fore. In living together, especially with visitors and strangers, Pluto will be better managed with a muzzle in the future. Due to his background, our little Knickohr rabbit will not be rehomed to a household with children! Who would like to give our Pluto a beautiful, long life?

Abgabe Im Tierheim seit: 24.09.2025 Über Pluto Der kleine Knickohr-Hase wartet sehnsüchtig auf eine zweite Chance! Plutos Leben begann in Rumänien auf der Straße. Dort ist er als halbwüchsiger Zwerg in eine Schlingfalle getapst, die leider Narben und bleibenden Schaden an einem Sprunggelenk hinterlassen hat. Davon lässt er sich aber nicht beeinträchtigen, nur die Kälte merkt er ab und an im betroffenen Gelenk. So begann seine Reise in die Welt des Tierschutzes und er durfte in ein liebevolles Zuhause nach Deutschland ziehen. Die Familie hatte alles richtig gemacht und Pluto bestens erzogen. Autofahren, Sitz, Platz, an der Leine laufen, alles kein Problem!Nur leider gestaltete sich das Zusammenleben zunehmend als belastend. Denn Pluto empfand das Kind als gruselig/störend und hatte sich die Frau des Hauses auserkoren, der Mann war aus seiner Sicht überflüssig. Und so kam Pluto dann zu uns. Wie man es sich als Verein wünscht: Mit einem perfekt sitzenden, bestens antrainierten Maulkorb und Schilderungen zum Zusammenleben, die alle in der Familie geschützt haben! Nur halt, dass das Zusammenleben als Solches nicht dauerhaft tragbar war. Pluto ist von Fremden im ersten Moment nicht angetan; Will man nicht gleich mit ihm kuscheln, sondern geht einfach auf ein gemeinsames Abenteuer los in die Welt, sucht er irgendwann von sich aus körperliche Nähe. Bis daraus eine wirkliche Freundschaft wird, braucht es allerdings Zeit und Geduld; Und viele Abenteuer! Unserem kleinen Knickohr-Hasen fällt es schwer Ruhe zu wahren und mal nicht im Mittelpunkt zu stehen. Seine Freude über Bezugspersonen geht ins Unermessliche, als hätte man sich drei Jahre, und nicht nur 2 Minuten, nicht gesehen. Mittlerweile hat er gelernt seine umwerfende Freude gesellschaftskonform anzupassen und musste auch lernen, dass er zu groß ist, um das Dasein als Schoßhund zu genießen. Der junge intakte Rüde muss noch viel lernen was Ruhe und Entspannung angeht, begegnet man ihm fair, ist er ein toller Begleiter! Zudem muss er lernen, dass nicht er das Zepter in der Beziehung trägt, sonst kommt seine einnehmende und sozialmotivierte Art zum Vorschein. Im Zusammenleben, grade mit Besuch und fremden Menschen, wird Pluto im weiteren Verlauf seines Lebens besser mit Maulkorb geführt. Aufgrund seiner Vorgeschichte, wird unser kleiner Knickohr-Hase nicht in einen Haushalt mit Kindern vermittelt! Wer möchte unserem Pluto ein schönes, langes Leben schenken?
