Prince is quite small for a boy and stands the same height as many of our girls, but what he may lack in size he more than makes up for with his incredible personality and big, loving heart fit for a king.Prince is a truly beautiful boy with the biggest heart and the most incredible amount of love to give, and trust me when I say he never keeps that love under wraps. From the very first moment you meet him, he comes in like a Prince claiming his throne, with open paws and a full heart, making you feel instantly special, wanted, and chosen.He is unbelievably cuddly and affectionate, always wanting to be close and soak up every bit of love you have to offer. And if you dare give another hound some attention, Prince will gently but sassily remind you where the spotlight belongs, because in his world he is quite rightly the centre of the royal court. That playful sass is one of the many reasons we adore him, a cheeky sparkle that never fails to make us smile.Prince is an absolute joy to be around, and with his warm, loving nature, he makes everyone feel like the most important person in the room, like they have been chosen by royalty. He has settled in like a dream, building bonds with all the staff with such ease, like a true royal winning over his court. His love for people means he can make friends wherever he goes, and it has been a real pleasure getting to know him over these past couple of weeks.This boy truly reigns over hearts wherever he goes and never fails to bring smiles to everyone’s faces when they need it most. He is so in tune with those around him and would do anything to make people happy, a gentle Prince with a heart full of kindness.Prince just so happens to be Blaze’s brother, and while they have no idea they share that royal connection, the similarities between them have made all the staff smile. They are both chatty and love to let us know when they would like their fuss, like two little princes announcing their arrival, and hearing them side by side is something special as they sound just the same.Prince is very social with his greyhound friends, and while he has not shared a kennel just yet, it is clear how much he enjoys being around the other hounds. He would be more than happy sharing his forever home with another female greyhound or two, enjoying walks and companionship like a true gentleman Prince.That said, Prince is currently kennelled alone and is more than content in his own company, showing just how confident and settled he is. We are sure he would be just as happy as the only hound in the home, soaking up all the love and attention for himself, like the centre of his own little kingdom.He is a true people dog, and being the sole dog in the home would be his idea of heaven, where he can truly reign as the centre of his humans’ world. With his loving nature, kind heart, and larger than life personality, this boy deserves nothing less than his own throne on the sofa.I can so easily picture Prince as the perfect work from home companion, or even a little office Prince, quietly keeping you company and brightening your day with his adorable face and happy chatter.He would suit a home with older, dog savvy children who understand when to give him space and when he is ready for cuddles. He loves all humans big and small, but would most enjoy respectful and understanding children who can appreciate both his need for rest and his love for affection. He would also be perfectly happy in an adult only home or one with adults and teenagers, where he can truly shine like the star of the household.People mean everything to Prince, and as long as he has humans who love him, reassure him, and shower him with affection, he will be a very happy hound indeed. He is incredibly people motivated, and you can see him blossom when he feels safe, loved, and included, like a Prince growing into his crown.During his dog test, Prince was a little eager at the start, but the second he sniffed Blossom, he became her friend and was more than happy in her company.
