Priscila is our little, still very reserved little (about 35 cm) Pudel lady. She was born in 2018 and came to our animal shelter in the fall of 2025 with several other dogs that were seized from a breeder due to poor husbandry. The beginning was tough, as the loving female dog had neither gentle hands nor knew how to walk on a leash. Our animal caretakers and volunteer helpers invested a lot of time to help the little Pudel learn to walk on a leash and develop into a relatively normal dog. Priscila is typically very alert and also very smart. She is still reserved, but not as fearful anymore and now goes for walks in nature with our regular dog walkers. Of course, there is still a lot of work to be done, and time and patience are needed on her journey forward. We are looking for a quiet home without young children, with patient and dog-experienced people. Ideally, a house with a garden or a quiet place suitable for apartment living with a garden. It would be wonderful if there is a secure area with only dogs where Priscila can still observe and explore. Where are loving people who want to finally give Priscila a great dog life? Priscila so heißt unsere kleine, noch sehr zurückhaltende kleine (ca. 35 cm) Pudellady. Sie ist im Jahr 2018 geboren und kam im Herbst 2025 in unsere Tierherberge mit einigen weiteren Hunden, welche aus schlechter Haltung, von einem Vermehrer, beschlagnahmt wurden. Der Anfang war schwer, denn die liebe Hündin hatte weder streichelnde Hände noch kannte sie das Laufen an der Leine. Die Tierpfleger und ehrenamtlichen Helfer haben viel Zeit investiert, damit die kleine Pudeldame an der Leine laufen lernte und sich auch sonst zu einem relativ normalen Hündchen entwickeln konnte. Priscila ist pudeltypisch sehr wachsam und auch sehr schlau. Sie ist noch immer zurückhaltend, aber nicht mehr so ängstlich und geht inzwischen mit unseren Gassigehern auch gern in der Natur spazieren. Natürlich ist noch viel Arbeit notwendig und auch Zeit und Geduld auf ihrem weiteren Lebensweg gefragt. Gesucht wird ein ruhiges Zuhause ohne Kleinkinder, bei geduldigen und hundeerfahrenen Menschen. Gern in ein Haus mit Garten oder in eine ruhige Wohnungshaltung mit Hausgarten. Schön wären, wenn ein sicherer Ersthund vorhanden ist, wo sich Priscila noch einiges abschauen kann.
