Not every working cat reads the job description… Wispa was trapped from a colony here in Sheffield and was never a pet cat. He was rehomed as a working cat to what sounded like the perfect spot, a quiet water sports park in Hull. But Wispa had other ideas. He went AWOL, and a year later was found 20 minutes down the road, safe, but clearly not where he wanted to be. His previous placement can’t take him back, and we feel this wouldn't have been right anyway. Wispa's journey has told us something important: Wispa doesn’t want a “job.” He just wants a place to exist, in his own way and a safe place to call his own. Right now, shelter life is stressful for Wispa, and he needs to find the right environment as soon as possible. Wispa prefers an independent life, and needs new owners who can provide him with food and shelter, and don't mind if they don't see much of him while he settles in. Although Wispa clearly wants to remain unemployed and live carefree, he will naturally deter rodents from his turf, so he will come with his benefits! If you have a simple shed, garage, outhouse to settle Wispa into and a garden for him to own, please get in touch.
