Hi, I’m Sita—a Border Collie lady with a sensitive and cautious nature. New situations and new people can be quite exciting for me, which is why I tend to be a bit reserved at first. I need some time to get used to things and to carefully assess the situation before fully relaxing. But if you give me that peace and space, I’ll gradually gain more confidence and start showing my true self—just like driving a car, which I also find a bit thrilling. I’m a dog with a rather reserved character, so a calm, stable environment is extremely important to me. Busy households just don’t suit me very well. Children often seem too unpredictable and energetic to me, which is why I’m looking for a home without kids. With other dogs, my reaction varies quite a bit. Some dogs I find cozy and friendly, while with others I might even bark. It really depends on whether there’s a good connection, so a calm introduction is key. I could potentially be placed together with my buddy Hipp, but that’s not a must. Unfortunately, cats aren’t a good match for me—I just don’t feel happy around them. Hoi, ik ben Sita Een Border Collie dame met een gevoelig en voorzichtig karakter. Nieuwe situaties en mensen vind ik best spannend, waardoor ik in het begin wat terughoudend ben. Ik heb even de tijd nodig om te wennen en de kat uit de boom te kijken. Maar als je mij die rust en ruimte geeft, zal ik stap voor stap meer vertrouwen krijgen en mezelf laten zien. Net als autorijden, dat vind ik ook wel spannend. Ik ben een hondje met een terughoudend karakter, dus een rustige, stabiele omgeving is voor mij heel belangrijk. Drukke huishoudens passen niet zo goed bij mij. Kinderen vind ik vaak te onvoorspelbaar en druk, daarom zoek ik een thuis zonder kinderen. Met andere honden ben ik een beetje wisselend. De ene hond vind ik gezellig, terwijl ik tegen een andere hond juist kan blaffen. Dit hangt echt af van de klik, dus een rustige kennismaking is belangrijk. Ik kan eventueel samen geplaatst worden met mijn maatje Hipp, maar dit is geen must. Katten zijn helaas geen match voor mij, daar word ik niet blij van.
