Location: Faversham, Kent Meet Coko – A Special Dog Looking for a Very Special Home Coko originally came into our care in 2022 and was rehomed, but sadly, his placement did not work out. He is now back with us and looking for a very specific kind of home where he can thrive. 🏡 The Right Home for Coko Coko needs a quiet, calm, and rural home — city or town life is too overwhelming for him. We’re seeking a female-only household, with no children (including visiting children) and no male visitors. This must be a dog-experienced home that can offer him structure, patience, and consistent management. His new home must be willing to muzzle train him and use tools like baby gates to manage visitors when absolutely necessary. He should also live in a home without cats. 🐶 What Coko Loves • Affectionate and cuddly – loves snuggling on the sofa (he even asks permission first!) • Chilled at home – house-trained, doesn’t chew, and sleeps a lot • Playful and social with dogs – thrives in a home with other dogs • Active outdoors – enjoys long walks and doing zoomies in safe, quiet areas ⚠️ What Coko Needs Support With • Aggression toward strangers and visitors – he will bark and has shown aggression (including attempted bites) when people enter the home or approach unexpectedly • Very reactive to noise and movement – barks at people walking past the house or unfamiliar sounds nearby • Unpredictable in public spaces – he may jump at and try to bite strangers if startled, especially in parks • Must be kept on a lead at all times in public and requires constant supervision • Very fearful of children and men, which can lead to aggressive behavior Coko is a sweet, loyal, and affectionate companion who just hasn’t found the right environment yet. He will flourish in the care of a calm, experienced woman in a quiet, rural setting — someone who understands that his anxieties need careful management and who’s willing to give him the time and training he needs. He’s a fantastic dog with other dogs, loves a peaceful home life, and has so much love to give — to the right person. CRITERIA: We adopt our dogs to an area in England within a 3-hour drive of Cobham in Surrey. Any garden must be fully secure and have at least 6 ft boundaries. All our home checks are carried out virtually. If your initial application is successful, we will ask you for proof of ID, a video tour of your home and garden. Home check and £400 adoption fee applies plus £25 for the safety harness that we insist all of our dogs are walked on until absolutely settled in their new home. All of our dogs come with a pet passport, are vet checked before departing and arrive via a DEFRA registered transportation vehicle.
