We are Johnny, Kenny, Ziggy, and Toby... a group of four male degus. We are looking for a nice home together. Degus are originally from Chile and are related to guinea pigs. They are very active little rodents. Degus love to climb and jump and therefore need a lot of space in their cage. They also like to dig and chew, so the cage must be escape-proof. They can become tame, but they are not pets for children. They need the company of their own kind to feel comfortable. The minimum dimensions for a degu enclosure (for 2 animals) are 1.40 m x 50 cm x 1.50 m. Wir sind Johnny, Kenny, Ziggy und Toby … eine Vierer-Gruppe männlicher Degus. Gemeinsam suchen wir ein schönes Zuhause. Degus stammen ursprünglich aus Chile und sind mit den Meerschweinchen verwandt. Sie sind sehr aktive kleine Nager. Degus lieben es, zu klettern und zu springen und brauchen daher auch dementsprechend viel Platz in ihrem Käfig. Außerdem buddeln und nagen sie gern, der Käfig muss somit ausbruchsicher sein. Sie können zahm werden, sind aber keine Streicheltiere für Kinder. Gesellschaft von ihresgleichen ist zwingend notwendig, damit sie sich wohl fühlen. Die Mindestmaße für eine Degu-Behausung (ab 2 Tieren) sind 1,40 m x 50 cm x 1,50 m.
