Eclipse is a sweet and loving cat, with a loud and brilliant purr. He will occasionally sit on a lap and sleeps next to his owner in bed. He would benefit from being part of a loving home, having somewhere cosy to sleep with humans who enjoy interaction but aren’t worried if he is out all day – he is a great hunter. Unfortunately, after 4 years, his owner accepted he isn’t cut out for residential. Eclipse has found himself locked in the church hall and is visiting neighbours’ houses against their will. Because of this, Eclipse is looking for somewhere more rural, with people to befriend (as he loves people) but without so many houses to explore and neighbours to upset. Having clear boundaries would be helpful . He is not good with other cats and children. He is a very well behaved cat in the home- never jumping on the table or work top, and always using his scratching post. He is a clear communicator, he twitches his ears if he doesn’t like something, and he can swipe after this if you continue, but never causes major damage.
