FRANKLIN 51393 (POA) – SENIOR – male dog, neutered, geb. ca. 2012, shoulder height ca. 50-51 cm, im TH seit 02/2020! Franklin greets us immediately even though he doesn’t know us, which he doesn’t mind at all; he’s happy to see visitors and initiates contact. At 14 years old, the lovable fellow is still agile and alert. Franklin loves being scratched and stroked, seeking out physical contact, closeness, and touches. He does cough a bit, but this is likely due to the collar. The shelter team tells us that Franklin is a cheerful, friendly dog, despite his age, full of energy and present everywhere. We can confirm this immediately; with his charming, gray face, he observes us and is interested in our surroundings. Strangers are no problem for him; he quickly adjusts to them. Franklin still enjoys walks, looking forward to any kind of outing. Franklin is a fine, very friendly, and wonderful dog who still wants to see a bit more of the world, beyond the enclosure, after 6 years; he also needs a dog bed in his own home. He walks well on a leash, sharing his enclosure with male and female dogs. (04/2026 B/C)

FRANKLIN 51393 (POA) – SENIOR – Rüde, kastriert, geb. ca. 2012, Schulterhöhe ca. 50-51 cm, im TH seit 02/2020! Franklin begrüßt uns sofort obwohl er uns nicht kennt, dies ist ihm egal, er freut sich über den Besuch und nimmt Kontakt auf. Mit seinen 14 Jahren ist der liebe Bursche immer noch agil und aufgeweckt. Franklin mag sehr gerne gekrault und gestreichelt werden, er genießt jede Zuwendung, sucht förmlich nach Körperkontakt, Nähe und Berührungen. Er hustet ein bisschen, dies liegt aber wohl an der Schlingleine. Das Tierheimteam erzählt, dass Franklin ein fröhlicher, freundlicher Hund ist, trotz seines Alters energiegeladen und allgegenwärtig ist. Dies können wir sofort bestätigen, mit seinem liebenswerten, grauen Gesicht beobachtet er, ist interessiert an uns und der Umgebung. Fremde Personen sind überhaupt kein Problem, er gewöhnt sich schnell an sie. Spaziergänge findet er nach wie vor toll, freut sich über Ausflüge jeglicher Art. Franklin ist ein ganz feiner, sehr freundlicher und toller Hundeopi, der noch ein wenig von der Welt sehen möchte, außerhalb des Zwingers, nach 6 Jahren braucht auch er ein Körbchen im eigenen Zuhause. Er läuft gut an der Leine, seinen Zwinger teilt er sich mit Rüden und Hündinnen. (04/2026 B/C)
