GANESH – Looking for a dream home for a dream dog – Labrador mix, 5 years old, born in May 2021, vaccinated, microchipped, neutered. GANESH has been found somewhere every few months; her previous owner used to come and pick her up, but now he can no longer be located. She was certainly kept without much love, but clearly not abused. She’s not shy around people, approaches them openly and friendly, and gets along well with other dogs. That’s why we quickly found a foster home for her—and now we know she’s house-trained, doesn’t pull on the leash, and could even be let off-leash in the forest on just the second day. She quickly becomes happiest when she can jump into a lake. According to the registry, she’s a Labrador mix, but there must have been at least one other breed involved as well. Some features remind us of a Bullmastiff, though she’s too small at just 60 cm shoulder height for that. She also reminds me of a Cane Corso—she’d fit nicely within that breed’s weight range of about 30–35 kg—but ultimately, we’re not entirely sure what she is. In any case, she’s an absolutely wonderful mix. Unfortunately, GANESH can’t stay long at the foster home because the host family is going on vacation and can only take their two Jack Russells with them. We definitely want to spare GANESH from living in a kennel, so we’re urgently looking for a good forever home—for now, if necessary, we’d even consider another foster placement. GANESH - Traumplatz für Traumhündin gesucht - Labrador-Mischling, 5 J., geb. Mai 2021, geimpft, gechippt, kastriert. - GANESH wurde alle paar Monate irgendwo gefunden, der frühere Besitzer ließ sie abholen, jetzt ist er nicht mehr auffindbar. Sicherlich wurde sie eher lieblos gehalten, aber eindeutig nicht misshandelt. Sie ist nicht handscheu, geht offen und freundlich auf Menschen zu und ist mit anderen Hunden verträglich. Deswegen fanden wir auch sofort eine Pflegestelle und wissen nun, dass sie stubenrein ist, nicht an der Leine zieht und im Wald schon am zweiten Tag abgeleint werden konnte. Schnell wird sie hauptsächlich, wenn sie in einen See springen kann. Gemäß Register ist sie ein Labrador-Mischling, aber da muss noch mindestens eine andere Rasse mitgemischt haben. Einiges erinnert an einen Bullmastiff, aber dafür ist sie mit 60 cm Schulterhöhe zu klein. Sie erinnert mich auch an einen Cane Corso, würde auch zu dem Gewicht von ca. 30-35 kg passen - letztlich wissen wir es nicht, auf alle Fälle ist sie eine absolut tolle Mischung. GANESH kann leider nicht lange auf der Pflegestelle bleiben, weil die Gastfamilie in Urlaub fährt und nur die beiden eigenen Jack Russel mitnehmen darf. Den Zwinger wollen wir GANESH auf alle Fälle ersparen und suchen daher nun dringend nach einem guten Zuhause, notfalls nochmal als Pflegestelle. Mehr Info u.
