Il a besoin de calme et d’approches tout en douceur pour se sentir en sécurité. Il présente également une malpropreté, liée à une méconnaissance de la litière dans son ancienne vie. Ce comportement n’est pas volontaire, mais le résultat d’un manque de repères. Avec du temps, de la patience et un cadre stable, un apprentissage progressif est possible. Godefroy aura besoin d’un environnement calme, d’adoptants patients et compréhensifs, et idéalement de la présence d’un autre chat, qu’il soit issu du refuge ou déjà présent dans la famille, afin de le rassurer.
