Hobie was caught along with his mother and siblings in a suburban garden in Stockholm when he was just a few weeks old. Hobie is the most cautious of the cats. He is not as food-motivated as his mother Franches or brother Jolle, but when toys are brought out, he is the first to arrive. Hobie loves to play with everything he sees and almost completely forgets that he actually finds two-legged creatures a bit scary. He also lets himself be petted when he is in the mood, and with time, patience, and the support of a friendly cat companion, he will soon become the most loyal cat imaginable. Hobie would prefer to move with his brother Jolle or with his mother Franches or both. Having more cats in the home is not a problem as long as they have patience with his crazy antics.

Hobie fångades in tillsammans med sin mamma och syskon i en villaträdgård i Stockholm när han bara var några veckor. Hobie är den av katterna som är mest försiktig av sig. Han är inte lika matmotiverad som sin mamma Franches eller brorsan Jolle men när leksakerna tas fram är han först framme. Hobie älskar att busa med allt han ser och glömmer då nästan helt bort att han egentligen tycker att tvåbeningarna är lite läskiga. Han låter sig också klappas när han är på humör och med tid, tålamod och stöd av en snäll kattkompis kommer han snart att bli den mest trogna katt man kan tänka sig. Hobie vill helst flytta med sin bror Jolle eller med sin mamma Franches eller båda. Fler katter i hemmet är inget problem så länge de har tålamod med hans galna upptåg.
