HOLLY WOULD LIKE A HOME WITH HER BEST FRIEND HEELIE 06-06-26 Holly is a fabulous lady who has come to us from a home with her best friend Heelie through no fault of their own. Sadly, their owner became too unwell to care for them, and their family made the very difficult decision to help them find a new home. Holly is a very happy and expressive little girl who has clearly been much loved throughout her life. She is friendly, enjoys being around people, and is happy to be handled. She will also happily take treats from our hands and has settled into rescue life with her cheerful attitude intact. She has arrived with her best friend, Heelie, who was originally adopted from us several years ago, and the pair are very much bonded. Holly is the braver of the pair, but they take comfort from one anothers company and will be looking for a home together where they can continue to enjoy life side by side. As Holly has come to us from a home, she will be familiar with the sights and sounds of a home environment. However, she may need a gentle reminder of her house-training skills as she settles into a new routine and environment. She can live with dog-savvy older children who are sensible and gentle. Holly can already walk on a lead but would prefer slower, shorter strolls. A slower pace of life would be ideal for Heelie and Holly, where they can enjoy plenty of comfort, companionship, and relaxed days together. With her happy-go-lucky personality, affectionate nature, and love of both people and her best friend, Holly is a delightful little dog who is ready to begin the next chapter of her life with Heelie by her side. Holly has arrived slightly overweight, so she will need a good diet and gentle exercise to help her reach and maintain a healthy weight. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
