IZELAY is a stallion from a group of equines with a complex past. Large and sensitive, handling and daily care (grooming, dentistry, veterinary care) remain extremely delicate for him; sedation is often necessary to ensure his safety and that of the staff. Given his past, it's difficult for him to trust easily; only time and patience will help him lower all his defenses. The team at our shelter believes that behind this wary gaze lies a tender heart, one that has longed for all the love it has missed. IZELAY will therefore need adopters who are very present for his education, experienced, and possibly accompanied by a professional to help him progress in the right direction. To date, IZELAY lives in a pasture with his other animals of the same species, grazing on grass and hay; he is only offered companionship and patiently waits for someone to give him a second chance. IZELAY est un hongre provenant d’un lot d’équidés au passé complexe. Grand sensible, la manipulation et les soins quotidiens (maréchalerie, dentisterie, soins vétérinaires) restent encore très délicats pour lui ; la sédation est souvent nécessaire pour garantir sa sécurité et celles des agents. Difficile pour lui d’accorder sa confiance au vu de son passé, seuls le temps et la patience pourront l’aider à faire tomber toutes ses barrières. L’équipe du Grand Refuge est persuadée que derrière ce regard méfiant se cache un cœur tendre, prêt à recevoir tout l’amour dont il a tant manqué par le passé. IZELAY aura donc besoin d’adoptants très présents pour son éducation, expérimentés et possiblement accompagnés d’un professionnel pour lui permettre d’évoluer dans le bon sens.
