KofiMale dog, medium/large in size. Approx. 4 years old (December 2025). Looking for a chilled out home! Kofi has been with us for quite some time, and we would truly love for him to find his forever home. Because of this, and thanks to some lovely sponsors, we have reduced Kofi's adoption fee to £450. Meet KofiKofi was found in the bushes by our wonderful rescuer with his sisters Shiva and Aya and brother Odin. They all look very similar but Kofi has one white foot. When they were first found they were all quite timid and unused to human contact. Kofi is still quite shy and doesn't tend to run around much and prefers to lay down watching all the fun. He is not getting on with the hustle and bustle of a pension, and would love a quiet forever home where he can chill out. Kofi has been fully vaccinated and is neutered. Kofi tested positive for heartworm on routine testing and is currently undergoing treatment. He will be able to travel to the UK after two negative heartworm control tests have been achieved and a scan to check there is no lasting damage. Heartworm is fairly common in Serbia and many dogs recover in full if caught early enough and dogs can lead full and normal lives. Heartworm is not generally well known in the UK but there are plenty of articles online and a useful video on our YouTube channel. All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
